Intrinsic Liberation

Intrinsic: -relating to the essential nature of;

-internal, genuine, true;

-something situated within or belonging to the body part it affects

-belonging naturally and essentially

I offer body-centered support in a wide variety of forms to essentially support liberation from that which holds one back from a greater sense of purpose, health, creativity, and flow.

We are a relational species.  I believe the root of much of our unwellness comes essentially from disconnection from the relationship to our bodies, each other, the land and spirit.  Whether I’m supporting work with an individual, couple, collective or organization, I am essentially supporting reconnecting to the relational web of who and what we are.  This inevitably supports all relationships as it centers the intrinsic nature of being a human that is deeply woven into the fabric of life to which we all belong.

Our bodies are complicated and complex storybooks of our life experiences, our wisdom, inspired visions and gifts. Repetitive work and athletic patterns, injuries, physical and emotional traumas and even unresolved ancestral traumas passed on epigenetically are translated into our fascial connective tissue as postural and pain patterns.  They also may be reflected in our inner and inter personal challenges, our mental and emotional struggles and disconnection from a vibrant, inspired sense of purpose.

Though they may come from direct personal experiences, they can also be related to the ways we are socialized and steeped in a system of oppression.

Liberation on any level is rooted in the body.

It is a doorway into finding a greater sense of purpose, aliveness, energy and creativity;  it is the path through which we can collectively create change.
